Live Wedding Painter

HELLO!

My name is Jessica, also known as ‘jessicapaintslive' on TikTok, and I am a live wedding painter located in the South West of England.

A little about me and how I found myself here: ​

I have been painting all my life, I used to skip school so I could paint (sorry teachers!). I won an Art scholarship to attend a prestigious school at sixth form and from then went on to gain a First Class Honors Degree at Goldsmiths University in London.

I have worked in the wedding industry for years as a supporting photographer for my wonderful husband: Christopher Wright of Wright Wedding Photography and adored capturing people and moments in a way that enhances the love, the joy and the beauty of the day.

After a while - it clicked: why am I holding a camera when I could be holding a paintbrush? What better way to immortalize that precious moment?

I won’t lie, I love painting almost anything, but it really is a special privilege to be part of a wedding day. To capture people’s happiness in harmony with stunning locations is a pretty incredible job to have.

Painting can be a lonely affair, so it is very fun to be surrounded by people as I paint and to provide entertainment for them throughout the wedding. Not to mention the bride and groom’s joy when I reveal the painting at the end, or the guests when they get to see their wedding day outfit immortalized in watercolour illustrations!
